The primary goal is to achieve a better connection between the workshop
participants. Considering they are a mixed group of second, third and fourth
grade students a certain amount of unfamiliarity amongst them is expected and
that it will take a lot of creativity and heightening of senses and empathy in
order to write something about a person not that close to you.
In the time of gift giving and under the pressure of consumerism people
often forget to actually think of the people around them, and are led by the
spending fever so thoughtfully “presented” to us by marketing experts, thus
buying (and wanting) things which are imposed on us.
The goal of this workshop is to use an immaterial gift – a nice word and
gesture to make another person happy. Likewise, by reading warm words written
by an anonymous person you may not even know, or may just see him occasionally
in the hall, must certainly raise self confidence in students, which directly
affects their emotional and mental health.
