Can we play a part in making life easier for
handicapped individuals and individuals with lowered mobility in our immediate
vicinity?
How much does our society accept the importance of
being aware of architectural barriers and is it putting that tolerance into
practice and
are we capable of developing empathy and understanding
by putting ourselves in the role of a blind individual?
This workshop is made to raise students awareness
about the spatial architectural barriers for handicapped individuals and individuals
with lowered mobility and also to highlight the importance of individual and
collective consciousness regarding the mentioned problem.
The workshop is carried out through individual work.
First we develop “the story” through mentor
encouragement and eventual suggestions and then students choose the materials
which suit the embodiment of the idea.
